AAB | Australian Cleaning Practices: A Detailed Look at Household Habits | More than a quarter of Australians would love to skip cleaning their floors forever.

SYDNEY | Roborock, a global leader in advanced home robotics designed to simplify daily tasks, has released the findings of its recent survey on Australian cleaning habits. As they prepare to launch their latest product range, including the Qrevo Master, Qrevo S, and H5, the survey sheds light on the challenges Australians face in maintaining clean homes and the areas where improvements can be made.

Australians place a strong emphasis on floor cleaning, dedicating significant time each week to ensure their homes are pristine. However, despite their efforts, many express a desire to eliminate floor cleaning from their routine entirely, highlighting the need for more efficient solutions to this tedious task.

The survey reveals that garages are considered the dirtiest areas in Australian homes, with 46% of respondents acknowledging the need for more attention in this space. Other trouble spots include bathrooms (41%), kitchens (38%), and even kids’ playrooms (32%). With busy schedules, it’s understandable that certain areas may be neglected in the regular cleaning routine.

When it comes to cleaning habits, nearly half of respondents admit to avoiding cleaning appliances like ovens, air fryers, and microwaves, which are prone to accumulating grime. Other commonly neglected tasks include vacuuming (44%), mopping (40%), and changing bed sheets regularly (32%).

The survey also reveals that Saturdays are the preferred day for Australians to tackle household chores, with 29% of respondents choosing to start the weekend with cleaning. However, a significant portion (28%) opt to clean their homes daily to stay on top of maintenance.

In terms of tasks they would happily avoid, 27% of respondents express a desire to never clean floors or carpets again, while 23% dread cleaning bathrooms the most.

Richard Chang, Founder & CEO of Roborock, acknowledges the challenges faced by Australians in balancing busy lives with household chores. He emphasizes the company’s commitment to developing innovative solutions that simplify cleaning routines and reduce stress for homeowners.

The newly launched products, featuring powerful suction, dual spinning mops, and obstacle recognition, are now available in Australia through Roborock’s Official Online Store, as well as various authorized retailers. With the Qrevo Master, Qrevo S, and H5, Australians can achieve a cleaner home with minimal effort.
